The Beat was a syndicated tv show from Dallas, Texas that aired for one year in 1966. It was hosted by Nashville-based deejay Bill "Hoss" Allen and featured a house band led by Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. Below, are some fine, soul performances from the program.
